Splash, sprint or cycle at the Wagendrift Challenge this Sunday
The Wagendrift Challenge will be held at the Bushmans Boating Club at the dam and registration begins at 6.15am
Wagendrift Dam will be the place to be this Sunday as the annual Estcourt 74 Round Table Wagendrift Challenge gets underway.

This popular family day brings together swimming, running and riding and attracts dozens of locals and visitors.
The Wagendrift Challenge will be held at the Bushmans Boating Club at the dam and registration begins at 6.15am.
Categories:
Children’s biathlon – up to 10-years-old.
Biathlon full – 1km swim, 5km run (solo or teams of two).
Biathlon half – 500m swim, 2.5km run (solo or teams of two).
Triathlon full – 1km swim, MTB ride, 5km run (solo or teams of two or three).
Triathlon half – 500m swim, 5km MTB ride, 2.5km run (solo or teams of two or three).
20km MTB ride and 20km trail run.

The trail run starts at 7am and the MTB race starts at 8am.
The children’s biathlon begins at 8.15am. Both the biathlon and triathlon starts at 9am.
Trail runners and mountain bikers should please carry their own refreshments. No wetsuits are allowed. Come along and spend the day at the picturesque Wagendrift Dam. Food and refreshments will be on sale. Remember the Ezemvelo KwaZulu-Natal Wildlife gate fee on entry to the dam.
