Honorary TW Mchunu Legacy Marathon takes off this Saturday in Estcourt

Save the date on February 16 for the TW Mchunu Legacy Marathon and 5km Fun Run in honour of the KwaZulu-Natal Premier Willies Mchunu.

It has been organised by the Department of Sport and Recreation, Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality, Spar and KwaZulu-Natal Athletics.

The race will kick off from Estcourt Spar and end at the Wembezi Sports Grounds. It begins at 7am.

The marathon comprises of a 10km race, which will cost R70, 5km race is R20 to enter and a 21.1km race is R100 to join.

Registration and number collections will be from 10am to 5pm at the municipal offices and 4.30am to 6.45am on the day. The rules and entry forms will also be available at the municipal offices.
