Swimming for a good cause at the Midmar Mile

Midmar Mile was an outstanding success

Three women from Winterton swam all 8 Miles raising money for charity.

Sally Ralfe and Pippa Brown collected for the Cancer Association of South Africa and Jani Maritz for the Swimmer’s Trust. Each had to raise R12 000.

Ann Gray completed her 30th consecutive year of swimming the Midmar Mile. The Muller family comprising of dad, Jubie and his children Jean, Nina and Liam each completed their 10th Midmar Mile.

14 swimmers from Winterton Primary School also completed the swim. Some of them swam with their families on Saturday and as individuals on Sunday.

They were Emma and Jack Culverwell, Abigael and Josh Don- Wauchope, Kenny and Maria Outram, Emma and Jack Ralfe, Caitlin Dyer, Mieke Hattingh, Andre Honiball, Henri Muller, Simon Reeve and Sarah van den Berg.
