Youngster Dante takes golfing honours
There were a number of players who managed to record a 2 Club on the day.
Thirty-five golfers turned up at Dundee Country Club on Saturday in support of the individual Stableford competition kindly sponsored by the President Louis Albertse, and Club Captain Dave Donaldson.
Winning the day with an excellent 42 individual points was Dante Ceronio, one point ahead of Kallie Roets who finished with 41 points. Lionel Shawe won the count out on 39 points to finish third ahead of Jo Khumalo.
There were a number of players who managed to record a 2 Club on the day, Vlooi Slabbert, Hlengiwe Hlongwane and Jo Khumalo at the 4th hole, Billy Francis, Bruce Allen and R. Seate on the 8th hole, Philip Ceronio on the 16th and Rob Streak on both the 4th and 12th holes.
Forthcoming golf days to diarise for March 2: Monthly Mug Medal for March, Saturday, March 9: Dundee Pre-Primary School Golf Day and Saturday, March 16: Flo-Tek Sponsored Golf Day. March 23 will see the second qualifying round for the Windhoek International Pairs competition.
