Estcourt golfers compete in the monthly mug

In perfect weather, dozens of golfers teed off on Saturday

Saturday saw the Mortimer Monthly Mug being played at the Estcourt Golf Club.

Arnold Boettiger won a count out on a nett 76.

Second place went to Deejay Ramdhav on nett 76 and third place went to Shane Mothilal on nett 78. The stableford competition was won by visitor Carol Du Plessis on 33 points.

In second place was Arnold Boettiger on 32 points count out and in third place was Deejay Ramdhav on 32 points. Closest to the pin on number two for two was Gordon Smith.

Closest to the pin for number three was Dr Gordon Chotu. Two club on numbers seven and 16 went to Carel Du Plessis.
The jackpot was shared by Sam Sewsunker, J Mabaso and Carel Du Plessis on nine points.

On March 10, the KZN Midlands Open will be played at Estcourt Golf Club. The golfing public is invited to come and watch some of the premium golfers battle it out to be crowned the champion golfer for 2019. The competition will be played over 36 holes.
