Dundee bowlers hold their heads up at Inter-Districts

The Dundee Bowls Clubs district bowlers have returned home after competing in Bowls South Africa’s Inter-Districts Competition in Cape Town last week. Although the competition was fierce an enjoyable week was experienced by all.
The ladies KZNCB “A” Side, of whom Rita Meyer was the skip, had a good week ending 6th in their section with 46.5 points.
The ladies KZNCB “B” side had a tough week; Taryn Bierbaum was in the lead, ending 10th in their section with 26 points. The men’s KZNCB “B” side had a wonderful week, Des Johnson played third with Greg Conolly managing and Jacques Bierbaum assisting, ended third in their section on 66 points, certainly a feat to be very proud of.
