Hundreds attend parkrun in Ladysmith

After the run, many of the participants enjoy the rest of the morning socialising

135 runners turned up for Saturday morning’s parkrun at Ladysmith Country Club. Ladysmith started its ‘parkrun’ on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at the Country Club. From then on, hundreds of local runners attend every weekend, determined to stay fit and start off the day with some good exercise.

After the run itself, many of the participants enjoy the rest of the morning socialising and making plans to meet up again next Saturday.

Isn’t it time you joined in the running fun on Saturdays – same time, same place? The Ladysmith parkrun is appealing to the community to join them on March 30 for the April Fool’s run. It will be different in that the route will be run in reverse.

Don’t forget to wave when you see a Ladysmith Gazette journalist, as you might be seeing yourself in the newspaper.
