Golfers show their prowess at local and away games

The game of golf may look simple to someone watching it on television, but it isn’t. Golf is mental, physical and requires strategy and patience, while all working together to hit a tiny white ball.

SEE THIS: Local golfers support the annual Midlands Open

All this was seen at the Estcourt Golf Club on Saturday.

A better ball competition was played sponsored by the club.

First place went to N White and S Olivier on 42 points.

Second place went to P Mabaso and S Mthethwa on 41 points and third place went to husband and wife team L Erasmus and Dr Erasmus. At the Howick Golf Course on Sunday, Estcourt golfers played an outstanding game. Estcourt team 1 beat Gowrie 2 (13-3) and Estcourt team 2 beat Howick 2 (10-6).
