Estcourt golfers brave the weather
Members of the Estcourt Golf Club had a jam-packed golfing weekend
The damp weather did not dampen the spirits of the golfers at the Estcourt Golf Club. On Wednesday a better ball was played and sponsored by the club.

Gordon Chotu and David Diedrick prevailed as winners over the rest of the field with 43 points. On Saturday the Monthly Mortimer Mug was played, winning both medal and stableford competition was up and coming youngster, Huzaifah Ismail Jnr on a nett 71 and 38 points.
Second on a count out was Melton Schiever on net 72 and 36 points, which left Sam Sewsunker in third place on an identical score.
Gerry’s Motors closest for two on number two was Paddy Geraty, closest on number three was Shane Mothilal and the only two club went to Luke Schiever on no 12. David Diedrick topped the field with 11 jackpot points.
