Winning weekend for Estcourt golfers

Golfers took a mighty swing during the combined stableford competition

Armed with golf clubs, members of the Estcourt Golf Club made their way onto the lush greens to play in a club sponsored combined stableford competition. Golfers got out onto the tranquil course this past Saturday morning.

Winners on a 66 point count out went to Sam Sewsunker and Denal Budhu. Runners up were Moekie Ghasitha and Bruce Le Roux.

In third place were Harry Koovarjee and Darren Wortman coming in with 65 points. A two club went to Viren Omardath on hole three.

And on a winning streak was again Moekie Ghasitha who was nearest to the pinhole seven. The following day, the two Estcourt league teams played an exciting round of fixtures at the Noodsberg Country Club.

Estcourt’s first team beat Boshchoek by 12-4 and Estcourt’s second team beat Gowrie Farm 2 by 10-6.
To both Estcourt’s league teams – well played.

Save the date April 17 for better ball competition with multiplication on par five will be played at the Estcourt Golf Club kindly sponsored by HMS Hardware.
