Little fish make a big splash at annual gala
The gala concluded with each swimmer receiving a certificate of participation.
High Tide Swimming Academy hosted its 18th annual swimming gala on April 6.
Children from as young as four years old made up the Tadpole Team, while the older and more advanced swimmers were promoted to the Little Fish and Dolphin groups respectively.
The founder of the academy, Fathima Seedat was pleased to see the progress of the young swimmers under the watchful eye of swimming instructor, Ina Blom.
Parents also had the opportunity to watch their children show off their newly acquired aquatic skills.
The gala concluded with each swimmer receiving a certificate of participation.
With this gala, the first half of the swimming season has concluded, and will resume in September.
