A further three soccer balls were handed over to the club. The Colita-based club often struggles to secure donations to help keep things up and running smoothly.

Mxolisi Mkhwanazi (12): “Thank you very much to the sponsors; because of you we can continue playing our favourite hobby.”

Coach, Fabian Meyers would like to express his heartfelt thanks to the two generous sponsors for their kind donation. Both sponsors wanted to make a contribution that would benefit the young lads.

“For the boys, this was very exciting news. I believe that one ball can keep up to three children occupied and this can help avoid them getting involved in drugs,” told Mr Meyers.

Kyle Dorry (16): “I have been with the club for almost ten years now. I grew up on this soccer field and I feel very blessed. I know how difficult it is for coach to get new equipment so when we do get, we are thankful, especially to the sponsors. “

The Under 13 team and Under 16 teams got to enjoy practising with their all-new soccer balls at Princess Park last week.
