In an exciting SAB League football match played at the Mpumelelo stadium, Sibongile, Eyethu overcame Mighty Professionals 3-2. The game was a ding-dong affair with both teams creating chances at either end.
At 2-2 Eyethu soaked up a lot of pressure to hold on and in the dying minutes produced an outstanding goal that looked at first to be a cross into the box but then ended up in the net to give them victory.
In another match, Melus dealt easily with DC United, running out 5-1 winners.
