Angling Club president shows he’s the king of the river
When the fish was finally on dry land, it weighed a whopping 11.82kg

The president of Klip River Angling Club, Lloyd Jugdawooh, managed to land some massive fish during a recent fishing trip.
Lloyd went out with Jason, Riaz, Manu, Asheen and Noshaad to one of their favourite spots on the Klip River. The lines were soon in the water and it wasn’t long before Lloyd got into the action… His reel started “screaming” to signal that there was a ‘big one’ on the end of the line.

He managed to hook a massive carp, which took him a long time to haul out of the water due to its massive size. When the fish was finally on dry land, it weighed a whopping 11.82kg. The carp was safely released back into the dark depths after a few photos were snapped.
Lloyd says his bait of choice was floaties and a dip made by Jason Jugdawooh.
Apart from this monster-sized fish, many other good catches were made and all were safely released back into the water to fight another day.
