Owen and Gerhard win on count-out
A reminder to all golfers to get their names down for the Estcourt Open, which takes place this weekend
Golfers gathered for the SPAR-sponsored better-ball competition on April 22.
The winners were Owen Mcluckie and Gerhard Reynders on a 44-point count-out.
In second place were Elias Mageza and Thokozani Dladla, also on 44 points (count-out). Third place went to Deejay Ramdhav and Rishi Goondram on 42 points (count-out), and in fourth place were Deejay Ramdhav and Nkosinathi Khuzwayo (42 points on a count-out).
Closest to the pin on no. 7 was Gerhard Reynders. The jackpot was shared by Elias Mageza / Thokozani Dladla and Shamesh Sewsunker / Hlanganani Hlongwane, both with better[1]balls of 11 points each.
Four two-clubs were carded on the day: Elias Mageza and Deejay Ramdhav – no. 3; and Kamy Baboolal and Shrey Harrynarain on no. 7.
