Two days of exciting golf were anticipated by players over the weekend.
Friday began with the Estcourt Round Table Night Golf Four-Ball Alliance.
The results are as follows:
First were Jeremy Brown, Jay Freese, Neil White and Dunne on 42 points.
Second were M Dahl, L Dahl, T Moolman and S Marx on a 39-point count-out.
Third were Louis van der Merwe, Dale, Mark Eden and Alfred Eden on 39 points (count-out).
On Saturday was the SPAR-sponsored Better-Ball competition.
Here are the results:
First were Seo Mtetwa and Shane Mothilal on 42 points (count-out).
Second were Owen Mcluckie and Carlo Piagesti, also on 42 points (count-out).
Third were Melton Schiever and Elias Mageza on 41 points (count-out).
Fourth were Willie and Laura Erasmus on 41 points (count-out).
Closest to the pin on number 12 was George van Niekerk.
The jackpot was won by Deejay Ramdhav and Sam Sewsunker on 11 points.
One two-club was carded for the day, which belonged to George van Niekerk on number 12.
