#FreshTake – Wonderful women

It's Women's Month and if no one will celebrate us, it's best we celebrate ourselves!

To all the influential and strong women out there:

It’s Women’s Month and if no one will celebrate us, it’s best we celebrate ourselves! Show all the women around you how much you appreciate them. They hardly ever jump at a chance to put their needs first. Sometimes even after a hectic day of work there isn’t a single moment free for themselves.

Women make just as many sacrifices for their family; they end up mentally, physically and sometimes emotionally exhausted. But you will never be able to tell…

Make sure you value them, let them enjoy some me time, help out where possible and appreciate the constant scarifies. They are after all the pillar of strength and source of wisdom keeping the family together. They give up some of their passions and hearts desires to see you happy, getting what you want instead.

Just imagine what this must be like. Women shouldn’t bring other women down and criticise how they choose to do things. We should support one another, it’s a lot easier for one woman to understand what another goes through on that level they can relate.

With that said, pick one another up, motivate, support and be there for one another. Nobody knows what is best for your family like your mother, wife or grandmother does. To all the young ladies, I urge you to take notes. Women carry the heaviest load of society on their shoulders. Not just at home, but also in the workplace, they have to work twice as hard to prove their capability.

Admire that granny who raised her own children and her children’s children. Tell that independent mother how much she inspires you. Compliment those women that people have been name shaming. You have NO idea what she’s been through unless you’ve taken a walk in her shoes. Tell that domestic, nanny, caregiver, female CEO and street cleaner how brave they are.
