Students form Module_23 NPO to fight social ills in communities
Module_23 NPC, founded by students, uplifts communities through education, sport, and charity projects.
Four young men who are part of a non-profit organisation called Module_23 NPC have taken the initiative to develop young people through education and sport.
The NPO was formed in July and their first project was at Inkululeko Children’s Home last week. They donated food and sanitary towels, and played with the children at the home. “The main aim in forming this NPO is to familiarise ourselves with the career we have chosen to study. We are currently studying Public Management, so we want to align with our modules and do it practically,” said Siyanqoba Sibiya.
Sibiya added that, “We still have projects we want to do in communities and try to solve social ills through sport and education. We would like to thank Mrs Kerryn Powell for her assistance in these projects and we are open to any individuals who would like to come on board. Our contact number is 073 677 8738.”
