Police is looking for mother of abandoned baby

The public's assistance is needed

Tumahole SAPS is asking the public’s assistance in finding the mother of an African new born baby boy, who was found abandoned on Saturday 27 January at about 21:30 next to the SPCA premises.

A member of the public heard the baby cry and found the boy dressed in a white babygrow and covered in a red blanket inside a gift bag.

The baby was taken to the Parys District Hospital for medical assessment.

Anyone who can assist the police in finding the mother can contact D/Sgt Numbulelo Sejane on 082 049 5208.
