SkArlit opens for Wonderboom

NORTH RIDING – SkArlit and Anti Retro Vinyls open for none other than Wonderboom for their 19th birthday.

Vinyls open for the big bash.

Fans of all three bands flooded the tables and dance floor for the old and new bands that performed at The Smugglers Pub.

SkArlit is an all-girl rock band that balances all sorts of genres.

The girls range from 17 to 18 years in age – some are still in school.

Victoria Gordon, Skully Maharaj, Caylin Lowe and Rixie Campbell relished at the opportunity to open for such a well established South African band.

Shayne Robinson, SkArlit’s manager commented, ”It’s been a long road for these girls. I am so unbelievably proud of their performance this evening.”

Andrew van Wyk commented, ”Considering their age, they have a bright future.”

Wonderboom comprises of Wade Williams, Martin Cito Otto, Martin Schofield, Jonathan Bell, who rocked the crowd with some old and new songs that have made them such a success over the years.
