NORTHGATE – The princesses and princes of the North are crowned.
The Face of the North crowning at Northgate Shopping Centre took centre stage on 5 and 6 September .
Northgate Shopping Centre general manager Gene Uys said, “It is one of our biggest family events and Northgate is all about family.”
The 0 to 12 month baby catergory, one-to-two years, three-to-five year old children – had their chance on 5 September.
Happy families were rejoiced to see the smiling faces of children on the cat walk.
Age groups from six-to-28 were seen strutting their stuff. Each male and female category had three finalists. Uys added, “The prizes were amazing and it was a lot of fun for the community.”
The money raised from the day will go to the Lighthouse Baby Shelter and Mother of Peace.
