Kiddyz Palace Nursery supports women empowerment

In celebration of Women’s day, Kiddyz Palace nursery in Bloubosrand is planning to host an event to empower women on 9 August.

Principal Vivian Arreyayuk said, “The main focus of the day is to educate the ladies in and around the area about their full potential. Various speakers and entrepreneurs will also be present to inform people who attend the event about possible jobs and opportunities for them to better themselves by learning new life skills.”

Abuse is also a major concern for women across the country.

Arreyayuk mentioned that representatives from the police will also be present to show women how to protect themselves and what they need to do if the abuse continues.

She concluded, “If any member from the public wants to help us out with donations or snacks for the day they can feel free to contact me.”
