The Magic of Parenthood

The Mama Magic Baby Expo took place from 28 November to 1 December and had everything a parent could dream of.

Held at the Coco-Cola Dome in Northgate, the expo marked the fourth year of the Mama Magic experience. Parents enjoyed a shopping experience like no other, while at the same educated themselves in all things baby-related.

Managing director and founder of Mama Magic Projeni Pather said she created the expo because she felt there was a need for a central space for parents to connect with fellow parents; as well as a space offering information and products associated with child-rearing.

“Often new parents do not have any idea of how to take care of their children, therefore we brought experts in finance, health, and education that could guide them in the best direction,” said Pather, who became a mother four years ago.

Pather explained the expo takes place in both winter and summer season products and services change with each season.

People from all over the country attend the expo. ”We had 30 000 to 35 000 people visit the expo this time. We hope to see more people come to the next one.”
