Scrooge Diner hosts homecoming charity dinner

Diner is hosting a charity dinner on 26 September.

All of the proceeds raised through the auction will be donated to Chris Venter, who last year also travelled from South Africa to Europe where he raised over R2 million for the Red Cross Children’s Hospital.

During this trip, he contracted an illness which has subsequently rendered him totally blind.

To aid, the event manager Terrance Tracey asks for any sports memorabilia signed by famous people or some exotic artworks and it would be great if they could get a scooter to give up, as it would be appropriate, taking into account Chris’ mode of transport to Dublin.
