BMW bursts into flames on busy road

A BMW 3 series burst into flames on the corner of Witkoppen and Riverbend roads on 7 October. An eye witness said, “At about 4pm yesterday we saw a burning car on the side of the road. We couldn’t even see if there was a driver or if he was alright. There were just fumes everywhere. In the later hours the car was towed away.” Fire fighters rushed to the scene and put out the fire. It is unclear if anyone was injured. Randburg Sun is investigating the matter. More details to follow.
