Zuma case: Officials to visit the accident scene
KENSINTON B – Randburg Magistrates' Court inquest proceedings will resume tomorrow [7 November] and court officials are expected to visit the scene of the accidents in Grayston Drive.
President Jacob Zuma’s son Duduzane appeared at an inquest held at the Randburg Magistrates’ Court on 6 November. The inquest will re-adjourn tomorrow [07 November] at 9am. Court officials are expected to go to the scene of the accident in order to determine a more accurate estimation of events.
Evidence was heard from Jabulani Vusi Dlamini, the driver of the taxi that is alleged to have been hit by Zuma’son while he was driving his Porsche in Sandton.
Dlamini gave evidence through a Zulu interpreter and some of it was contradictory as, he also denied previous statement that was put in as evidence.
It has been alleged that Dlamini was driving the taxi, when Zuma’s Porsche rear-ended his taxi in which Phumzile Dube was a passenger and who subsequently died and three others were injured.
The inquest will re-adjourn tomorrow.
