School is out and it is holiday time
GAUTENG – Parents have to make plans for their children as schools are closed and holiday time kicks-in.
The holiday season has started as public schools closed on 10 December and will open on 14 January.
It seems that some private schools closed earlier and others will be closed on 12 December.
According to the Independent Examination Board (IEB), different schools operate on they own schedules.
Curro Aurora and Trinityhouse schools were closed on 5 December and will open on 14 January 2015.
Some of the private schools that are under the Advtech Group, closed on 10 December and will open on 14 January 2015.
Junior Colleges schools will close on 12 December and open on 6 January.
“Junior College schools are the only ones opening early next year. This is aimed at helping parents who will have to report for work early,” said Christelle Wolmarans, marketing personnel of Advtech Group.
