Hospital sells food for children
OLIVEDALE – Staff member sells food to raise money for school children.
A member of staff at Netcare Olivedale Hospital is doing her part for children in underprivileged areas.
Branch Administrator at Lancet Laboratories Merisha Gopichund sold samoosas, spring rolls and chicken breyani at the hospital on 26 February to raise funds for C-Wosa, a project that provides food for schools in underprivileged areas.

“I am a mom of two boys,” Gopichund said.
“There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a tummy filled.”
Gopichund had to start cooking at 3am in the morning to have enough food for the sale.
The hospital’s marketing officer Deborah Sieff commented, “Netcare Olivedale Hospital welcomed the opportunity to assist Merisha in her quest to feed the children.”
