Flood dog reunited with owner

RANDPARK – The Labrador that survived the floods has been reunited with her owner.

Pips Klug, who was walking her dogs, found the Labrador in a park near Arend Avenue in Randpark.

Klug then took the dog to the Randburg SPCA. The owner could not be contacted.

Kennel manager Leigh de Beaufort said, ”She was collected about two or three days after she was dropped off.”

”I was contacted by the owner on Wednesday (18 February) or Thursday (19 February) evening who called to thank me for finding her dog, although she did not leave her name or number,” said Klug.

”I am very happy that she has now been reunited with her owner.”
