Rachael swims for gold

A tour to Australia is envisaged for The King’s School Robin Hills‘ pupil Rachel Humphries, who bagged eight medals at the South African Christian Schools Sporting Association (SACSSA) annual National Swimming Gala.

Humphries was awarded seven personal medals – five gold and two silver – and one gold medal from a relay.

The SACSSA National Swimming Championships is a two-day event of very high standard, with between 400 and 500 swimmers participating every year.

This year, it was held on 6 and 7 March at the Delville Pool in Gemiston.

SACSSA National organises sporting events on a national level between all the SACSSA regions in Southern Africa.
