Schoolgirl injured in motorcycle accident
ROBINDALE – Motorcycle skids, 17-year-old girl hits two cars.
A 17-year-old school girl was injured when her motorcycle crashed into two cars on Malibongwe Drive in the morning of 25 March. Emer-G-Med, Linden Police and City of Johannesburg Emergency Management Services (EMS) responded to the scene. The girl’s sister, who will not be named to protect her identity, said that the girl was riding alone to school when the accident occurred near the corner of Malibongwe Drive and Rabie Street, Robindale.
“She was going to school… when the bike skidded and hit the back of one car and she fell,” the sister said. “She skidded into another car. She is okay.” According to the sister, the girl hurt her one arm badly and has scrapes on her legs. EMS and Emer-G-Med worked together to treat the girl on scene, before Emer-G-Med transported her to Mediclinic Sandton for further treatment.
