Investec International Rugby Academy

RANDPARK RIDGE – Trinityhouse Preparatory Randpark Ridge hosted their rugby holiday programme with some exciting guests.

Trinityhouse Preparatory Randpark Ridge hosted the Investec International Rugby Academy during the school holidays.

The school hosted a round of rugby clinics for the pupils of the school. The pupils were treated to coaching by former Springbok players Gcobani Bobo, Ian McDonald and André Pretorius. Over the duration of the academy, players got expert advice on different aspects of rugby that included the tackling technique, rucking, passing and team structure.

“It was a tremendously successful academy as our Trinityhouse rugby players and coaches got to learn from the best about the game. We were also very fortunate to learn from the Investec coaches and are excited to implement the skills and techniques into our matches. We thank each expert for their time and advice and look forward to next year’s academy,”said Trinityhouse Preparatory sports manager Riaan Smit.
