Sindisiwe Manqele, who is accused of stabbing Flabba, sat in court with her scarf yet again, covering her face while waiting to be called for her trial.

Judge Sithole presided with Advocate Norman Makwebela as counsel for the defence and State Prosecutor Evidence Nthabiseng Rhiba representing the State.

Rhiba explained to the court that while all parties were ready to continue, defence counsel had not yet been appointed at the time the date was set down.

Adv Makwebela said, “By matter of mutual decision we agree to have the matter postponed.”

Judge Sithole reminded Manqele that she was still out on R10 000 bail and then postponed the case for hearing until 7 September in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court.
