No break for Douglasdale SAPS during festive season
DOUGLASDALE – Douglasdale Police will increase visibility within their policing precinct this festive season.
Douglasdale Police Station spokesperson Warrant Officer Balan Muthan assured the public that they will be working tirelessly this festive season.
The year had its ups and downs at SAPS Douglasdale but we have weathered the storm and come out on top, according to crime stats released by the national commissioner.
We will strive to maintain a high level of service delivery and prevention of crime as well as crime detection to see that our community is kept safe throughout the festive season as we serve with pride.
Our residents should be more vigilant this festive season. We have established that robbery at driveways is a developing crime trend in our police precinct and we need to work together to eradicate this trend.
We have launched the Douglasdale SAPS festive plans.
There will be continuous road blocks and we will increase visibility and continue conducting random stop-and-search campaigns throughout the festive season.
SAPS members and the management at the station would like to take this opportunity to wish the entire community a safe and crime-free festive period.
