Bearded dragon owner desperate to find missing pet
WINDSOR WEST – A concerned resident has placed a reward of R300 for anybody who finds Champ, her bearded dragon.
A very concerned resident, Carrie from Windsor West, said her bearded dragon Champ has been missing since the end of November 2015 and urged people to please be on the lookout for the reptile.
“She was last seen recently between the golf course and Queens Lodge near the Willows. Everytime somebody spots her she is already gone when I arrive. If anybody knows anything please contact me as soon as possible,” said Carrie.
She said her dragon is about four and a half years old, very tame but scared and runs away from noise.
“Champ is around 50 to 60cm long from head to tail but not harmful,” said Carrie.
She added she has handed out posters and searched for Champ for hours at a time but has not had any luck yet.
She urged people to look around rocky areas, gardens and low-line trees.
Carrie concluded she is desperate to find Champ as she can end up dying from dehydration.
She has placed a reward of R300 for anybody who finds Champ.
