Entrepreneurial spirit at the city’s civic centre
BRAAMFONTEIN – The civic centre will be lit up for a night of glamour and giving back.
A project that was started by three young entrepreneurs of The Future Team SA (TFTSA), will be the platform used to host the inaugural Entrepreneurs Drive Gala Dinner to Touch an Orphan’s Life, in order to raise funds for an orphanage in need of financial aid.
The three entrepreneurs are Kagiso Selele, Ozious Notoane and Boitumelo Thobejane, and the dinner is to raise funds for an orphanage in need of financial aid.
FTSA is an event-hosting company that organises a number of events and promotions. Set for 9 September, the red carpet gala dinner will take place at the Braamfontein Civic Centre and 10 per cent of the proceeds from each ticket sold will be donated to an orphanage to be announced on the night.
This is not the first time that the philanthropic threesome has decided to give back to the Johannesburg community. In previous years, these entrepreneurs with big hearts banded together, bought 50 blankets and distributed them to vulnerable people of the city who were in need of warmth and comfort during the long nights. In addition, they purchased clothing that was given to children on the streets of the inner city Johannesburg and Newtown.
The majority of the money raised will be used to fund essential surgery for orphans, which will not only improve their health but also increase their chances of living longer, prosperous lives. Another of their goals and intentions for the collected funds is to care for, educate and train visually impaired orphans to live and work independently in the future.
There are a number of young entrepreneurs who will speak at the dinner and share their knowledge of entrepreneurship with like-minded individuals. Don’t miss the chance to learn from industry leaders.
