Watch: Road-rage on Malibongwe Drive
NORTH RIDING – A man who appears to be a taxi driver is knocked down in a road-rage incident.
A video of a taxi driver who was knocked down and run over in a road-rage incident at the intersection of Malibongwe Drive and Northumberland Avenue on 1 November, is circulating on Facebook.
The footage shared on Localsa ( see video here) showed the driver of the SUV reversing into a man who appears to be the driver of the taxi, running him over before fleeing the scene.
It appears as if the taxi driver bumped into the SUV at the intersection during peak hour traffic.
ENCA quoted witnesses saying a taxi and an SUV were jostling for position in gridlocked traffic before the incident spiraled out of control.
The news channel is reporting that the two drivers proceeded to bump one another’s vehicles until the SUV fiercely rammed the front of the taxi.
