MUST READ: Second arrest in Delta Park

After recent criminal activities in and around Delta Park, Linden police and CSS Tactical held an operation in the park.
Spokesperson for Linden Police Station, Captain Walter Spencer said one illegal immigrant was arrested on 7 December and his camp was destroyed. Spencer confirmed the operation was to address the recent increase of public indecency and rape attempts.
This follows the CSS Tactical arrest of a homeless man for attempted rape in the park on 26 November. “He was arrested in the bush behind Delta Park School. We searched him and found nothing illegal,” said Spencer. He continued to explain that the police do not normally arrest individuals for bylaw infringements but since the suspect is in the country illegally, the police were allowed to remove him with an arrest.
Recent crimes in the park have included theft, attempted rape and public indecency.
