It was a morning of prayer at Linden Police Station when they hosted police and community members to a day of devotion.

Community members and officers of Linden Police Station gather for a morning of prayer.

According to Constable Takalani Matumba of the station, this is a new concept that was introduced to the station by the national minister of police who has called it Devine Intervention.

Matumba said the station will have this day twice a month and everyone at the station must attend.

“We also invite the community pastor and community as well.”

She explained that it is important to have this prayer because they are praying for members of the community and for the crime in the area to come to an end as well.
