Messy hair, but full stomachs
RANDPARK RIDGE – What messy hair can accomplish.
Wendy’s play and pre-school has launched a messy hair day.
The purpose of the messy hair day was to raise money for The 9th day animal shelter. They raised money by asking R10 entrance fee. With this approach, they managed to raise R1 100 for the animal shelter. The 9th day animal shelter was happy to receive the money. The money will allow them to feed a lot more hungry stomachs. The youngsters also had the option of bringing animal food to the school, which some of them did.
Katie Sloan, the principal said, “We also wanted to teach the children how to give.”
Wendy’s play and pre-school is in Randpark Ridge. They have been running for 28 years now and has recently started their own primary school for next year. Their Grade 1 enrollments are currently open.
