Teenage boy’s body found in Golden Harvest Park dam
GOLDEN HARVEST PARK – Emergency services were called to Golden Harvest Park where a boy's body was discovered.
A body of a teenaged boy was discovered in the dam at Golden Harvest Park, North Riding, in the afternoon of 7 February. According to ER24 spokesperson, Ross Campbell, the body was discovered by a couple who were out walking their dog.
“ER24 was called to the scene just after 5pm, to assess the patient. Three police divers recovered the body from the water after they had established that there were no signs of life, the paramedics declared the patient dead,” Campbell said, adding that the cause of death can only be determined by an autopsy.
Honeydew Police spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan said he was unaware of the incident. Gauteng police spokesperson, Captain Kay Makhubela promised to provide details on the incident shortly.
The boy’s identity has not been confirmed yet.
