Man seriously injured after being struck down by a vehicle

BROMHOF – A man was transported to Helen Joseph's Hospital after a car knocked him down leaving him seriously injured


A light motor vehicle struck down a man believed to be in his 20s at President Fouché and Kelly Road intersection in Bromhof. The man was left seriously injured when the accident took place last night (25 April)

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene at 7.30pm they found emergency services of the City of Johannesburg already attending to the patient.

“On assessment, paramedics found that the man had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition,” said ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.

He added that the man was treated for his injuries and provided with several advanced life support interventions before he was transported to Helen Joseph Provincial Hospital for further care.

Local authorities are said to have been present at the scene for further investigation.
