Music fair not to be missed

DUNKELD – This month's Spin Music Fair promises to be a treat courtesy of the Dunkeld Bowls Club.

Fourteen of the country’s top vinyl record, CD and audio dealers can be joined at this month’s Spin Music Fair. The event will take place from 10am to 2pm on Sunday 30 June on The Deck at the Dunkeld Bowls Club, along the leafy streets of Hume Road.

This event has promises an opportunity to browse through thousands of pre-owned and new vinyl records, CDs and cassette tapes for albums by your favourite artists –many at bargain prices. Delectable food and drinks can be enjoyed at the club’s bar or outside at the tables in the warm winter sun.

Music will be celebrated when conversation with knowledgeable dealers or fellow collectors and music lovers who know their stuff collides. There is something for everyone, even if you’re after a relaxed environment to listen to the cool playlist tunes on the high-quality sound system. The Spin Music Fair also has some of the best live South African talent on show and this month is no exception. The event organisers have taken pride in the presentation of the blues-rock drenched magic of Gunshot Blue.

The band Gunshot Blue has committed to an appearance for fans at noon and their set will be live-streamed online.
