One person left seriously injured after driver loses control

RANDPARK RIDGE – Emer-G-Med's chief operating officer Jurgen Kotze said the patient sustained serious injuries.


During the early hours of this morning, 11 March, a light motor vehicle ploughed into a basketball court in Randpark Ridge.

Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the single-vehicle collision at Monkor Road.

Emer-G-Med’s chief operating officer Jurgen Kotze said, “It’s believed that the vehicle lost control on the N1, crashing into a property.”

Kotze said the patient sustained serious injuries and was rapidly transported to hospital under extended care professional (ECP) care.

Local authorities were present at the scene for investigations.
