Cyclist injured in a collision in North Riding
NORTH RIDING – The cyclist was transported to a nearby hospital by Emer-G-Med for further care.
Emer-G-Med responded to a collision on the corner of Hyperion and Bellairs drives on 17 September, at around 8.30am.
The collision involved a cyclist and one motor vehicle. “The cyclist was exercising, the driver of the vehicle didn’t see the cyclist and stopped, then cyclist hit the vehicle and fell,” explained Caitlin Kruger, a team member from Emer-G-Med. “The patient sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital for further care.”
