Festive season wishes from the Linden police

LINDEN – Station commander of Linden Police Station Colonel Ahmed Musthan would like to take an opportunity to wish his community a very merry Christmas.

Station Commander of Linden Police Station, Colonel Ahmed Musthan would like to take the opportunity to wish his community a very merry Christmas.

He writes:

On behalf of the Linden police, it is our sincere wish that the festive season is one that is peaceful and prosperous to you and your families.

I would like to share that this station has experienced significant decreases in all categories and subcategories of crime for the first and second quarters of the financial year 2020/2021.

This is a clear indication of the coordinated and cooperative relationship between the Linden police and its external role-players and the station’s Community Police Forum (CPF).

We at the Linden Police Station are committed to maintaining and improving this relationship.
In 2020, the station focused a lot of our attention on ‘trio crimes’, namely house robberies, business robberies, and hijacking.

We encourage businesses and residences to stay safe into the new year by remaining vigilant. Don’t spend time reversing out of your driveway, and if you have a security system, make sure that it is operational and connected to a service provider.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the CPF and all members at Linden police for their dedicated and loyal service to their community and to this station.

I impress upon the community to report all incidences and to assist the police by being the eyes and ears of this organisation.
