Joburg Water has alerted residents that they are aware of a water outage affecting Johannesburg north suburbs and surrounding areas on 3 March.

#wateroutage JWater has informed that "its seems that RW had an issue again. Eikenhof pump station has been isolated to complete repairs. We are focusing on supplying critical customers with water, e.g. hospitals & clinics"

Over the weekend, Rand Water established a water shutdown that lasted 30 hours. Joburg Water said that it seems Rand Water had an issue again. “All the areas getting direct supply from Rand Water will be impacted. Rand Water has isolated the Eikenhof Pump Station. At this time, we do not have turnaround times for the completion of work,” said Joburg Water in a statement.

Bergbron, Claremont, Delarey, Whiteridge, Roodekrans (all extensions), Wilropark (all extensions), Helderkruin (all extensions), Constantia Kloof (all extensions), Allens Nek (all ext), Weltevreden (all extensions), Florida Hills, Florida North, Discovery (all extensions), Selwyn, Florida Township, Horison, Horizon View, Roodepoort North, Florida Park (all extensions), Constantia Park, Honeydew (all extensions), Zandspruit, Laserpark, Randparkridge, Cosmo City, Lanseria, Thabo Mbeki Informal settlement, Olivedale, Sundowner, Northwold, Boskruin, Bromhof, Kya Sands, Bloubosrand, Eagle Canyon, Honeydew View, Poortview, Ruimsig, Wilgeheuwel, Princess, Grobler Park (all extensions), Lindhaven, Little Falls, Harveston, Honeydew (all extension), parts of Northriding.
