Truck driver hits a tree in Northriding

NORTHRIDING – According to Emer-G-Med, the driver sustained mild injuries.


Emer-G-Med responded to a collision on the corner of Market and School streets in Northriding on 22 April.

Emergency services arrived on the scene at around 12.30m. “A truck was driving on Market Street and its hatch hit a tall tree and crashed into a wall,” explained Caitlin Kruger, Emer-G-Med medic.

“We transported one patient (driver) who sustained mild injuries to the nearest hospital for further care.”

All relevant authorities were on the scene.
