Martin ‘Cito’ Otto and Martin Schofield from Wonderboom had a blast playing a selection of tunes for their fans at the Blueberry Hill Hotel on 26 May.
As the event started, Otto said the duo was thrilled to be playing at an event so close to his home, and after the strain that the Covid-19 pandemic put on the entertainment industry, it was great to see an audience in an intimate setting once again.
As a dinner event, fans were treated to a delicious three-course meal and drinks with stunning 360-degree views of the city, while listening to the sounds of the band’s familiar favourites and some new ones.
General manager of the hotel Ryan Aikman said the event aimed to treat fans who have been missing their favourite bands, and help artists who have been hit hard by the pandemic in a socially distant and hygiene-conscious setting.
