PinkDrive looks for volunteers and sponsors

FERNDALE – Non-profit company asks for help in its battle against breast and prostate cancer.

Volunteers and sponsors are always encouraged to come forward to help fight the battle against breast and prostate cancer.

So said PinkDrive’s events and fundraising manager, Nelius du Preez after the non-profit company hosted an open day outside its headquarters in Ferndale on September 29.

“We would love for corporates to help fun the mammograms and mobile units so we can do more open days like this, and travel to the rural areas,” he said.

“Companies like Eva, which supplied face masks for all our staff and volunteers, are always great to have. Companies are also welcome to contact us and have a corporate wellness day where they can sponsor the testing for their staff. Early detection saves lives.”

Du Preez encouraged anyone interested in volunteering or making donations to contact him.
